Tokyo, January 2026: VERSION Watches at the heart of Ginza
In January 2026, the co-founding team of VERSION Watches traveled to Tokyo, invited by the Jean Rousseau boutique in Ginza for an evening presenting the V01-LCC. An intimate setting, in one of the world's most demanding districts for design and watchmaking, to meet the Japanese community of collectors of designer Swiss Made watches.
This trip follows New York Watch Week 2025, where VERSION Watches had already been welcomed at the Jean Rousseau showroom in Midtown Manhattan. A relationship of trust that is confirmed internationally.
An evening closer to the Japanese community
The event brought together collectors' clubs, specialized local press, buyers, and Friends of the House. The chosen format is one that VERSION consistently favors: direct, unmediated exchanges about the watch itself.
It's on the wrist that the V01-LCC truly reveals itself. Its semi-open dial exposing the movement, the subtle openwork that hints at the mechanics without overexposing them, the texture of its surfaces and its 38 mm proportions: all details that cannot be fully appreciated in a photo and that generated keen interest from the connoisseurs present that evening.
Jean Rousseau Ginza: a fitting showcase
The choice of the Jean Rousseau boutique in Ginza is not insignificant. The Parisian high-end watch leather goods house welcomes a clientele of discerning collectors, sensitive to noble materials and cutting-edge collaborations. This is precisely the audience targeted by the V01-LCC and its three references: the Rosée, the Éclat and the Tempête, each limited to 100 numbered pieces, assembled in the Swiss Jura.
This evening also directly led to a double-page spread in World Wrist Watch Japan n°168, one of the most respected watch magazines in Japan.
